Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station is a Provincialy run power plant located on the Bay Of Fundy. Access to the site is very limited for obvious security reasons. The plant is held to the highest safety standards both from peer organizations (they are part of an international group of Nuclear operators that share safety information to heighten Nuclear safety world wide. They also conform to strict conditions from the International Atomic Energy Agency who perform periodic and sometimes unannounced checks and balances from fuel to waste management and beyond.
